DIY: K20/K24 into a 2001-2005 Civic

**also note that the same thing applies to people who do the k24 swap. Just remember that if you use a k24 that the tranny side mount is different from the k20 tranny mount. If you already have a k20 in your car and wish to use a k24. Hasport and i think Hybrid can supply only the k24 tranny mount so that way it sits the motor lower so it can fit in our cars

i was following the direction of your wiring and the c101 clip is different from the 01 civic. and if i pin it the k20 c101 clip to how it's written, none of the witres match from either c101 clip. maybe the reason is that the civic is automatic and i turnerd it to stick so maybe the wiring its in different locations. now the k20 c101 clip does match but one of the wires is not threre. it's looks like it's the fan wire. if anyone can point me to the right direction i would appreciated. and does all 01 civic's come equiped with the imobilelizer because i don't think this one has it but maybe i'm mistaken. thanks.

i havent done it with an automatic so i cant say where that one wire would go... and yes all 01-05 civics and newer cars do come with the immobolizer.. it is a standard feature on all new cars.. not only civics but other car manufacturers too..

do you have the civics wiring diagrams but for the auto? may be you can send a copy of it if it's possible. i really think i could wire it with the diagram. that's all i need to finish this prodject.

there is a difference in the wireharness from the 01-03 to the 04-05... as soon as i find the wire diagram i will keep everyone updated

i got the wiring finaly done but how can i place the battery in the front. any ideas. i dont whant to put it in the back
